How to show hidden files and folders on Windows 10.

Maybe your looking for a files hidden in your drive or some virus hide your files and folder, don't just format your drive instantly because you think you lost your document after getting infected by a virus. I encounter a virus that can hide your documents on flash drive once you insert it in a infected computer.

In my previous article I show how to unhide files using attrib in command prompt. And now I will show you how to view hidden files on windows 10.


1. Open the folder or drive in which your hidden folder located.

2. Click on VIEW tab and Click Options then select Change folder and search options, the folder option dialog box will
 appear.

4. On Folder option Click on View tab.

5. Then click on Show hidden files, folders and drives.

6. uncheck the Hide empty drives, Hide extensions for known file types, Hide folder merge conflicts and Hide protected operating system files (see image below) Finally Click Apply.

Now you can see any hidden files and folder on your drive.
