But have you heard about the roaming scam? This is a kind of text scam targeting OFW and their families here in the philippines.
It goes like this. If you lately get contact to your friend, families abroad using their roaming number then the bad guys now knows your number. (I don't know how they did that maybe tapping on roaming line they maybe even know your conversation.)
After the bad guy knows your number he/she now text you that he change his/her roaming number acting that he/she is your family abroad and asking for load because its hard to get prepaid load on their countries.

"E2 na bgu roaming # ko kmusta nkayo dyan,tx kau kng nrecve nyo tx ko, ingat kau plage miss u goodbless!"
my reply: ah, ok.. musta kna dyan?
"Ok lang, pwd paloadan mu muna ako hirap lang d2 sa loadan. "WARNING! Be careful be stingy..
