How to Buy from Lazada: A Step-by-step Guide, Including the Use of Discount Vouchers

Since the inception of e-Commerce, shopping has never been easier than to do so online. With the Philippine market now also burgeoning with e-Commerce platforms such as Lazada, it is only important that its potential costumers be made known on how it works and thereby making their shopping experience an easier and streamlined process of buying things online.

1. Registration

As your online shopping is meant to be a personal experience, not simply as a guest, it is only fundamental that you make your own account for the process.

There are two ways you can do these:

• Via Lazada’s main website: http://www.lazada.com.ph/ or
• Via its mobile application (iOS, Android, Windows)

For simplicity, let us assume that you are going to make your own personal account via Lazada’s website. Doing so is just simple: just click on the top-right drop-down button of the webpage and proceed with registering your account by filling in the necessary details.

2. Logging into Your Account

Although you would normally already have logged into your account as soon as you registered for an account, but if otherwise, logging in is as simple as clicking on the drop-down button by the left side of the registration drop-down button, typing in your username and password, and clicking on “login.”

3. Configuring Account Details

As soon as you’re already logged, there will be a noticeable change with the buttons you used to click on in order to register for an account or log into it. Instead, what you see is your full name placed on it: that’s your account.

Otherwise, you can browse on certain parts of the website for the needed item(s).

5. Checking Out / Payment

Found the item(s) you need to buy? Adding your wanted item(s) to cart for express payment or simply stacking a few more is as easy as clicking on either the “express checkout” button or the “add to cart” button and then proceed to checkout.

As you had already set the default payment method to “Cash on Delivery” (COD), choosing the payment method is already completely optional at this point. However, do not click on the “Place Your Order” button just yet. If you meet a certain condition and your purchase is legible to get discounts, always make use of one before completing your order.

To make use of discount vouchers, look for this line at the right-side portion of your screen: “Have voucher code? Apply here.” The “Apply here” text should be clickable where you will place your voucher code.
