How your neighbor knows your PLDT DSL Wifi Password.

PLDT DSL is one of the most  use home internet service provider here in the Philippines. But some subscriber complaining about their slow connection, before calling the PLDT Support Hotline check first your WiFi setting maybe your neighbors are using your WiFi that causes you to slower connectivity. Same as my office mate experience about his PLDT Home DSL.

My office mates called me to fix his PLDT WiFi because it is getting slower.
When I'm at his house I open my cellphone and see if there's an available WiFi network.
And I see Only one network available the PLDTHOMEDSL.

I ask "Kanino tong PLDTHOMEDSL na nasasagap ko?".

And he said. "Akin Pre yan ung patitingnan ko sayo, bumabagal kasi habang tumatagal".

When I first saw the SSID I already suspected that he did not change the password of his WiFi. So I tried the trick widely known on Internet I called it  PLDT Mac Address trick. I try to get his password using that trick.

How they get my PLDT WiFi password? Here's how.

For example: Your Wifi Mac address is 00:51:33:54:95:06 you just add PLDTWIFI+ last 5 digit of Mac Address, so your WiFi Password is PLDTWIFI49506

I explain to him that his connection are getting slow because most of his neighbor are connected to his WiFi without his knowledge because he did not change his password.
