A Summer Journey to Marinduque, Philippines.

I wanna share my experience with my office mate going to Marinduque, Philippines this summer of 2015. The day before is am so excited because this is may first time to ride a ferry.
Manila to Marinduque

Departure from Manila.
At around 7:00 pm our bus (JAC Liner) depart from Manila, I sleep during that 4 hours of travel by bus, we arrived at Lucena Port around 11:00 pm.

When we arrive at the Port there are long lines for buying a ferry ticket due to pick season. But thanks god we bought a ticket for 2am departure. And so happy that the name of a ferry is "City of Sorsogon" which is my home town name.

I did not enjoy the view on the sea because its a night, so I told my friends that when we go back home we travel by sea during morning.

Arrival to Marinduque
The ferry arrived at Balanacan Port of Marinduque at 4:30 A.M then we travel by Jeepney from Balanacan Port to Torrijos for almost 1 and a half hours. 11 hours travel time from manila to Malibago, Torrijos, Marinduque the hometown of my office mate.

On the first day we just sleep in the morning then in the evening we have a little party together with the friends of my office mate. We drink Emperador light and so many snack like calamares(a fried big squid), freshwater eel, etc. And I get drunk so hard.

On the second day we go to the beautiful hills they called it "PERTO" Amazing view. You can see there the view of Torrijos and Buenavista. And a beautiful formation of coconut trees.

I did not witnessed the Moriones festival that time so next summer I will visit again this beautiful island just to join in Moriones festival.
